In order to receive more revenue, a breaking celebrity news website could receive more customers by aligning their website with other websites in addition to selling advertising space on their website and participating in several Internet marketing methods.

A celebrity news website could participate in a link exchange with a DC dentist that offers cosmetic dentistry in order for patients to look like a movie star with straight pearly white teeth.  A link exchange could also take on the form of a small banner ad or other type of advertising exchange with another website in order to increase both websites’ customer databases.  Another potential website for a link exchange would be breaking health news because people care about their health, in addition to indulging in a little guilty pleasure as to reading about the latest celebrity gossip.

Another way a celebrity news website could increase their revenue is by participating in an article exchange with other websites that may or may not be relevant to celebrities or the entertainment business.  For example, a celebrity news website could write an article about how celebrities are helping people in these economic hard times by making considerable donations to food pantries, donating used clothing and shoes and especially giving money where it is needed most.  This article could then be posted on a dollar store website in order to encourage other people who may only have just a little extra to give if they can. Then, the dollar store has their article about people who donate what they can on the celebrity news website.  This will draw in more customers to both websites, ultimately making both websites more money.

An article should be written in keyword rich text, which means using keywords or keyword phrases that people would use in order to find what they need or want on the search engines.  The three major search engines – Google, MSN and Yahoo! – send out their “feelers” in order to find these keywords or keyword phrases and then rank websites according to a special formula.  A high ranking on the search engines’ webpages is desirable for a website in order to bring in more targeted customers, which are customers who are looking for exactly what the keywords or keyword phrases “say.”  Having a keyword rich article on a website or another Internet source is called search engine optimization or as SEO.  This practice is a free program and an automatic service to all websites throughout the Internet no matter what their products or services. 

Article exchanges, search engine optimization, selling advertising space or link exchanges with other websites could all increase a celebrity news website or a health news website’s customer database, therefore increasing the money they could make.
