Castle Tours Part of a Castle Destination Wedding, History Brings Wedding Together

Michigan gardensEven with the poor economy, destination weddings are still going strong for soon-to-be wedded brides and grooms. It used to be that a destination wedding would take place in the Bahamas or some other exotic beachfront property. But today a bride and groom does not have to travel far to have a beautiful destination wedding.  All across America, different states have special and unique wedding destination spots that cost far less than an exotic beach locale and would be easier for friends and family to reach in order to help celebrate this joyous occasion with the bride and groom.  A Michigan gardens wedding offers beautiful outdoor gardens in which the soon-to-be married couple could choose the garden and the season in which they want to be married in.  For example, the gardens are kept up and planted with different vegetation year-round so winter weddings in which the bride and bridesmaids wear long velvet capes down the aisle and the bare trees are decorated with colorful sparkling lights would be just as beautiful as a spring wedding when the trees are in bloom with small flowering buds and the grounds are covered with stunning colorful plant life.

A destination wedding in Michigan is only one of the many hundreds of different types of unique weddings from across the country a soon-to-be wed couple could choose from.  There are Western weddings in states like Texas in which the bride and groom and the entire wedding party ride in on horseback; Hollywood style weddings which resemble the movies in California and even a wedding at the replica of the top of the Eiffel Tower at an amusement park called Kings Island in central Ohio.

A destination wedding could include a centuries old castle that lends itself to a themed wedding in which the bride and bridesmaids dress in period pieces, depending on the bride’s preference they could even reenact a romantic couple from fictional fantasy fairy tales or history such as Robin Hood and Maid Marian.  A destination wedding such as the castle would give castle tours to wedding guests during the reception or perhaps after the rehearsal dinner, which would be very interesting to know the history behind such a wonderful place that will play a major role in the wedding ceremony.
